The latest “Epidemics that Didn’t Happen” report released by Resolve to Save Lives in October 2022 celebrates successful outbreak responses from around the world that demonstrate the returns - in lives saved - of investing in preparedness and response systems. Examples from Brazil, Burkina Faso, Democratic Republic of Congo, Guinea, Indonesia, India and Tanzania are a testament to the power of preparedness and a roadmap for future success in preventing epidemics.
