What is CBS?

Community-based surveillance (CBS) is the systematic detection and reporting of events of public health significance within a community by community members.

By equipping volunteers within communities with the skills and tools to quickly report unusual health events, we can make sure the right help is provided in the right place and at the right time to prevent epidemics or reduce their harm on communities.
